Living in Edinburgh - Autumn

Hi there!

Today I want to talk about how amazing it is being lucky enough to live in the beautiful city of Edinburgh as a student here. Autumn is absolutely stunning in this city, watching the leaves change as more and more pumpkins start showing up in windowsills is always a highlight of my year. Walking to university every day is always beautiful when we have the meadows, but one of the best times of year is definitely when it turns into the stunning red, yellow, and orange landscape that suits the city so well. Sitting in the psychology building and looking out over the George square gardens allows an equally beautiful view, and if you can nab a coffee from one of the wee red stalls to warm you up it’s worth braving the chill to spend some time there before winter really takes hold. And George Square and the university are by no means the only places you get to enjoy the colour; when you wander down to Princes street for that perfect Halloween costume for your society’s spooky spectacular, you’re offered a beautiful view of the gardens, as well as a sneak peek at the Christmas market already beginning to be set up! I couldn’t imagine a more beautiful city to spend pumpkin spice latte season in.
